Allergy and Asthma Research of New Jersey, Inc. is an independent research company owned by the physicians of The Asthma Center. These physicians are board certified Allergists and Clinical Immunologists. Due to the large private patient population of The Asthma Center, Allergy and Asthma Research of New Jersey, Inc. has access to a large study group population which allows the company to participate in studies requiring large enrollments.

Currently Allergy and Asthma Research of New Jersey, Inc. has one clinical study site in Northeast Philadelphia.

What is a clinical research study? What happens during a study?

This company participates in Phase II and III clinical investigative trials for major pharmaceutical companies. These investigative trials have been within the scope of allergy and immunology and have included: long and short term studies in bronchial asthma (pediatric and adult); allergic rhinitis studies (seasonal and perennial); conjunctivitis studies (seasonal and perennial); migraine studies; COPD studies (both chronic bronchitis [antibiotic trials] and emphysema); acute and chronic sinusitis; and gastroesophageal reflux disease. The physicians have performed over 200 clinical trials for more than 20 years and have an excellent reputation in the industry for a high standard of quality control and expertise in these trials.
